DIEGO GONZALEZ LAMAR
Diego G. Lamar (M'05) was born in Zaragoza, Spain, in 1974. He received the M.Sc. degree, and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Oviedo, Spain, in 2003 and 2008, respectively.
In 2003 and 2005 he became a Research Engineer and an Assistant Professor respectively at the University of Oviedo. Since September 2011, he has been an Associate Professor. Since 2003 he has been involved in Power Electronics, participating in more than 20 Research and Development projects. He has authored or co-authored more than 100 technical papers in IEEE Transactions and IEEE conferences.
His contributions are focused in the field of power supplies systems for telecom and industry applications. His main research interests include switching-mode power supplies, converter modelling, and power-factor-correction converters.
